TAKAYAK is Ukrainian brand of minimalistic and multifunctional women’s clothing, allowing focus on the necessary. The brand is a choice of the modern woman who supports conscious consumption, chooses the best and loves life.

On the eve of International Women's Day, fashion brand TAKAYAK presented a new collection dedicated to Ukrainian women.
"Today, Ukrainian women are an example of strength and resilience for the whole world. They take care of their children and elderly parents, volunteer in humanitarian centers, and stand shoulder to shoulder with men armed to defend their land. This resilience, thirst for life and desire to help and win inspired me to start my own business during the war. I dedicate this collection to all of us, Ukrainian women," says the brand’s designer, Kateryna Yantukh.

The collection is based on classic trouser suits (paired with a white shirt and tie, they look restrained and even serious, but while worn on bare skin, they look seductive).
"A Ukrainian woman is both a muse and a warrior. I wanted to show this duality in my collection. History has many examples of such a combination of Yin and Yang. On my mood board, I had a picture of Trinity from the cult trilogy 'The Matrix' by the Wachowski sisters. Today, the heroine Carrie-Anne Moss is relevant both in terms of style and as a role model," says Katerina.
